How to order a hearing transcript from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Wisconsin, based on the court’s published procedures.
Step by Step
Good to Know
Transcript fees follow the Judicial Conference maximum rates effective October 1, 2024: $4.40 per page for 30 day delivery, $5.10 for 14 day, $5.85 for 7 day, $6.55 for 3 day, $7.30 for next day, and $8.70 for 2 hour, with lower rates for copies. The first party to order pays the original rate; later requesters pay the copy rate.
Audio copies cost $34 per MP3 or CD and are usually ready in about 2 business days, but audio is not acceptable for appeal purposes. For an appeal, the appellant submits a transcript order under Bankruptcy Rule 8009.
