LunarScripts, LLC, is a Houston-area Texas company on the transcriber rotation for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Texas, preparing hearing transcripts for attorneys, trustees, creditors, and debtors in San Antonio, Austin, El Paso, Midland, and Waco.
Approved Transcriber
LunarScripts is on the transcriber rotation for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Texas, which hears cases in its San Antonio, Austin, El Paso, Midland, and Waco divisions. Every transcript is produced by trained human transcribers, then reviewed line by line against the audio and certified by an AAERT Certified Electronic Transcriber before delivery.
Expedited Delivery
Bankruptcy deadlines move fast, and expedited work is our specialty. We regularly turn around same-day, next-day, and 3-day transcripts, with delivery time counted from receipt of the deposit. Text us for rush orders and we will confirm the timeline right away.
Texas Based
LunarScripts is a Texas limited liability company based in the Houston area, so Texas attorneys and trustees work with a transcriber in their own time zone who knows Texas practice. We are also approved transcribers for U.S. Bankruptcy Courts in Arkansas, California, Florida, New Mexico, Tennessee, and Wisconsin.
How Federal Orders Work
Federal transcript orders follow the rates and delivery categories set by the Judicial Conference of the United States, from 30-day ordinary through daily and hourly delivery. We work from the court’s official recording and deliver the transcript for filing, where it is subject to the court’s redaction and release policy.
Each court handles orders a little differently, so send us the case number, hearing date, and delivery category you need, and we will take it from there.
Federal Rate Schedule
The Judicial Conference of the United States sets the maximum page rates for federal court transcripts. The rates below took effect October 1, 2024, and LunarScripts bills federal transcripts at or below them.
| Delivery | Original | First Copy | Each Add’l Copy |
|---|---|---|---|
| 30 Day (Ordinary) | $4.40 | $1.10 | $0.75 |
| 14 Day | $5.10 | $1.10 | $0.75 |
| 7 Day (Expedited) | $5.85 | $1.10 | $0.75 |
| 3 Day | $6.55 | $1.30 | $0.90 |
| Next Day (Daily) | $7.30 | $1.45 | $1.10 |
| 2 Hour (Hourly) | $8.70 | $1.45 | $1.10 |
Delivery times are counted in calendar days from receipt of the order. State court and private transcripts follow each court’s own rate schedule or our standard rate sheet.
Cost Estimator
Enter the length of the hearing and the delivery you need. The estimate uses about 45 pages per hour of bankruptcy hearing audio and the federal maximum rates above. Your final cost is based on the actual page count.
Ordering
Send the case name and number, the hearing date and time, the judge, the portion of the hearing you need, and your delivery category. We request the official recording from the court, prepare and certify the transcript, deliver it to you, and file it with the court as required. Every transcript names the party who ordered it.
